Today, I got a snail mail from a local art auction house. They announced what art would be on auction in the coming weeks.
One item struck my eyes. A photograph by the late Robert Mapplethrope ... estimated price 4.500 to 6.000 euro (see the above picture)! Woohoo!!! I love the photographs of this artist, I consider him one of the top photographers ever. Of course he was gay. And his studies of the nude male (not the above picture) are astonishing. Same goes for the price his works obviously cost on auctions!
