from malaysia to thailand

A lovely flight from KL to BKK, with MAS. Excellent food on the plane, and an almost perfect service.

We were kindof convinced that Thailand would be so much more fantastic then Malaysia, but the arrival in the airport tought us that we should value Malaysia more then we did: arrival in Thailand means long lines waiting for the border control, doors not functioning, yelling people outside, really rather chaotic, and compared to that, is an arrival in KL a landing in heaven hehe!

We decided to go back to Plaza Athenée, the Royal Meridien hotel on Wireless Road. As usual a problem to find a good smoking room so we agreed upon an upgrade to a junior suite, corner room, but non-smoking. It's one of my new-year's-resolutions to slow down on tobacco :-) so let's start here!
